Big Speckled Trout

Today I was joined by father and son team Travis and Tom, from Vermont.
While I was bundled up on the chilly ride to the first fishing spot of the day, Travis seemed to think it was rather pleasant! Imagine that!!
The day started off windy from the north with little signs of life. As the wind laid down and the sun came out, we started to see some large Speckled Trout. Travis was able to give his lure just the right action and landed this health 4 lb Trout.
Later we went after some Redfish and saw many in the 10+ pound range, but were unable to get them to play.
All-in-all a great day on the water, with 2 really good men. Thanks guys!
