Sept 12th - Mosquito Lagoon Redfish

Today, regular client, Adam of Melbourne wanted to catch some Redfish in Mosquito Lagoon. The morning started off great with slick calm conditions and hopes of Tailing Reds!
While we did see some tailers, they were very spooky and did not want our offerings. We managed to sneek up on several small schools of 20 or so fish.
Adam displays one of the Redfish from the schools that we lured to the boat.
While we threw many different lures at the fish today, the combination that worked over and over was a Rip Tide "Jerk Worm" rigged on a Daiichi "Butt Dragger" hook.
The fish are here...let's go catch'em!! |
