As I woke and checked the weather, today was not the day that I would have chosen to go fishing. Winds were 17mph out of the North with gusts to 23mph. I was just hoping that the fish had not listened to the weather report.
Our first stop proved this to be true, as the Speckled Trout were thick. John, from PA., was my fishing partner for the day and had a blast catching one after another.
To avoid the wind, we ventured into the backcountry in search of Redfish. We were not disappointed! Here is John with a healthy backcountry Redfish!
John, with another hard fighting Redfish! This one was 30” and weighted 9lbs.
